SPIDER-MAN 6

AUNT MAY is getting married with ADRIAN TOOMES and PETER PARKER hates the idea. PETER and GWEN STACY visit AUNT MAY’s new penthouse apartment. PETER’s spider sense alerts him of a small surveillance robot scaling the side of the building. PETER makes up an excuse to leave so he may investigate. SPIDER-MAN finds the surveillance robot and a chase begins. SPIDER-MAN captures the robot but is ambushed by a dozen more. SPIDER-MAN defeats all the robots and they all self destruct. At the OSCORP lab the surveillance monitors show static and MR. TOOMES is furious. His assistant MAC GARGAN tries to calm him down. MR. TOOMES explains his grand scheme to GARGAN, tells him the importance of his involvement, and shows GARGAN a special made power suit. MR. TOOMES informs GARGAN that he already has an agent infiltrating.

The next morning at the DAILY BUGLE office J. JONAH JAMESON is ecstatic over the public’s interest in MR. TOOMES’ wedding to AUNT MAY. The DAILY BUGLE newspapers have been selling out all over town. JAMESON wants PETER to be interviewed for a story in the paper. PETER denies the offer, JAMESON becomes angry, and he kicks PETER out of his office. Later that night SPIDER-MAN catches a burglar exiting an apartment window. The burglar runs away into a well populated area, SPIDER-MAN appears, SPIDER-MAN shoots the man in front of many witnesses, and SPIDER-MAN escapes into a dark alley. The next day all the newspapers are reporting SPIDER-MAN is a killer.

PETER is in the street reading the DAILY BUGLE when MR. TOOMES suddenly appears without his bodyguard/assistant GARGAN. MR. TOOMES informs PETER about his knowledge of PETER’s secret identity as SPIDER-MAN. MR. TOOMES tells PETER to give himself up or suffer a great lost. PETER tells MR. TOOMES he will not give up and he will stop any of MR. TOOMES’ schemes.

At RYKER’S ISLAND prison a CORRECTION OFFICER is patrolling the cell blocks. The CORRECTION OFFICER stops in front of the cell belonging to KRAVEN THE HUNTER.

The CORRECTION OFFICER opens the cell door, tells KRAVEN he has the skills to escape on his own, and hands KRAVEN a note with a rendezvous point.
Outside of New York City MAC GARGAN now wearing a power suit and going by the codename SCORPION breaks into an unknown penitentiary to initiate the break out of RHINO and SHOCKER.
The SCORPION defends the powerless RHINO and SHOCKER as all three of them escape the prison and disappear into the night. At the DAILY BUGLE office JAMESON is informing PETER about the prison escapes of KRAVEN, RHINO, and SHOCKER. JAMESON feels the fugitives will try to seek revenge on SPIDER-MAN and he wants PETER to stay alert to catch photographs of the impending battle.
PETER rushes to AUNT MAY’s penthouse but only finds GWEN. GWEN tells PETER that AUNT MAY is out to dinner with MR. TOOMES. PETER tries to fight his urge to tell GWEN everything and GWEN takes notice. GWEN tries to convince PETER to share his feelings. When PETER is just about to tell her everything his spider senses alert him of danger. A tiny robot passes by the window and PETER leaves the penthouse to chase after it. SPIDER-MAN is intercepted by KRAVEN THE HUNTER who leads SPIDER-MAN on a chase. SPIDER-MAN loses KRAVEN’s trail and is blasted by a sonic blast which sends him flying through a giant MARY JANE billboard promoting her Hollywood movie.
At the OSCORP lab MR. TOOMES meets with his team of villains. MR. TOOMES introduces the CORRECTION OFFICER to the rest of the team. The CORRECTION OFFICER removes his wig and facial hair to reveal he is THE CHAMELEON.The next day PETER arrives at AUNT MAY’s penthouse to speak with her but she is watching TV with GWEN and MR. TOOMES. PETER tries to leave but AUNT MAY and MR. TOOMES convince him to stay. The conversation between PETER, AUNT MAY, GWEN, and MR. TOOMES is interrupted by a news bulletin on the TV. The news is reporting a disturbance and the cameras show RHINO destroying city property. PETER tries to leave but MR. TOOMES prevents him from doing so. RHINO lifts a city bus with a MARY JANE movie poster on it and tosses the bus towards near by traffic. SPIDER-MAN appears at the disturbance but does nothing to stop RHINO. Instead SPIDER-MAN blatantly leaves the scene as all the news outlets are reporting the incident live. RHINO runs away immediately following SPIDER-MAN’s departure. PETER is infuriated but is hiding his emotions from everyone.
At the DAILY BUGLE office JAMESON is angry at PETER for not having any new SPIDER-MAN photographs during this whole SPIDER-MAN conspiracy. PETER is pacing the room as JAMESON yells at him. PETER gets angry and tosses JAMESON’s computer monitor against the wall. JAMESON looks in shock as PETER quickly apologizes and exits the room. A surveillance robot outside of JAMESON’s window crawls away. MR. TOOMES is at the OSCORP lab viewing the surveillance monitors and places the call for the final step of his grand plan to capture SPIDER-MAN.

PETER is walking to GWEN’s house when his spider sense alerts him of a dozen small robots approaching. PETER quickly ducks into the shadows and emerges as SPIDER-MAN. The robots scatter and SPIDER-MAN chases them. One by one SPIDER-MAN destroys the small robots. The final robot leads SPIDER-MAN to BATTERY PARK before it self destructs. SPIDER-MAN looks out into the distance where he can see sonic laser beams shooting up into the sky on LIBERTY ISLAND.

SPIDER-MAN arrives on LIBERTY ISLAND, encounters KRAVEN, and they engage in hand to hand combat. SPIDER-MAN cannot defeat KRAVEN and tries to escape. SPIDER-MAN cannot swing out of harms way so he must escape on foot. SPIDER-MAN cannot focus his spider sense because of the many dangers facing him from all angles. SPIDER-MAN meets SCORPION who is distracting him as RHINO charges. RHINO smashes SPIDER-MAN and they fight. SPIDER-MAN escapes from RHINO and SCORPION contacts MR. TOOMES to inform him of the mission’s status. At the OSCORP lab in a secret area MR. TOOMES gases himself with his own version of the GOBLIN SERUM.

Back at LIBERTY ISLAND the mission continues. SPIDER-MAN meets the FAKE SPIDER-MAN. SPIDER-MAN defeats the FAKE SPIDER-MAN and removes his mask to reveal the CHAMELEON. Suddenly SPIDER-MAN’s spider senses alert him of danger. SCORPION dashes by SPIDER-MAN and SHOCKER hits SPIDER-MAN with a sonic blast. SCORPION again contacts MR. TOOMES to give a mission update. In his secret lab MR. TOOMES is opening a chamber containing a WINGED POWER SUIT.

The battle continues as SPIDER-MAN fights SHOCKER and SPIDER-MAN escapes. KRAVEN supplies a distraction to SPIDER-MAN while SCORPION hits SPIDER-MAN with his armored tail. SPIDER-MAN fights SCORPION and the rest of team join in. KRAVEN, SHOCKER, RHINO, and CHAMELEON each take cheap shots at SPIDER-MAN. The gang assault is interrupted by the high pitched shriek of a monster. LIZARD leaps out of his hiding and begins to attack the SINISTER 5. SCORPION tries to contact MR. TOOMES. Up in the city sky there’s a stream of flames moving extremely fast. On LIBERTY ISLAND the team of SPIDER-MAN and LIZARD are still engaged in battle with the SINISTER 5. The fight comes to a close, SPIDER-MAN and LIZARD are victorious, but VULTURE appears holding GWEN STACY hostage. VULTURE takes GWEN up to the crown of THE STATUE OF LIBERTY. SPIDER-MAN fights VULTURE in the sky surrounding the STATUE OF LIBERTY. VULTURE grabs GWEN, tosses her into the sky, jets over to SPIDER-MAN, and grabs him. VULTURE tries to fly away but SPIDER-MAN shoots a web line onto the STATUE OF LIBERTY to anchor himself. GWEN has fallen below the crown level of THE STATUE. SPIDER-MAN tries to break free, MR. TOOMES laughs, and LIZARD jumps onto VULTURE’s back. VULTURE’s power source is damaged, he releases SPIDER-MAN, and he plummets with LIZARD on his back. SPIDER-MAN rushes to save GWEN but is too late. On the other side of THE STATUE lay the bodies of VULTURE and LIZARD.

AUNT MAY is watching the news report about the death of ADRIAN TOOMES, the incarceration of the SINISTER 5, and end of OSCORP. There is no mention of LIZARD. PETER arrives to pick up AUNT MAY for GWEN’s funeral. Before they leave PETER confesses to AUNT MAY that he is SPIDER-MAN. At GWEN STACY’s funeral a gloved hand takes hold of PETER’s hand. PETER looks up to see MARY JANE wearing a black veil, standing beside him, and remaining silent. AUNT MAY stands on the other side of PETER and takes hold of his other hand.
