SPIDER-MAN 6
At RYKER’S ISLAND prison a CORRECTION OFFICER is patrolling the cell blocks. The CORRECTION OFFICER stops in front of the cell belonging to KRAVEN THE HUNTER.
The CORRECTION OFFICER opens the cell door, tells KRAVEN he has the skills to escape on his own, and hands KRAVEN a note with a rendezvous point.

The SCORPION defends the powerless RHINO and SHOCKER as all three of them escape the prison and disappear into the night. At the DAILY BUGLE office JAMESON is informing PETER about the prison escapes of KRAVEN, RHINO, and SHOCKER. JAMESON feels the fugitives will try to seek revenge on SPIDER-MAN and he wants PETER to stay alert to catch photographs of the impending battle.
The next day PETER arrives at AUNT MAY’s penthouse to speak with her but she is watching TV with GWEN and MR. TOOMES. PETER tries to leave but AUNT MAY and MR. TOOMES convince him to stay. The conversation between PETER, AUNT MAY, GWEN, and MR. TOOMES is interrupted by a news bulletin on the TV. The news is reporting a disturbance and the cameras show RHINO destroying city property. PETER tries to leave but MR. TOOMES prevents him from doing so. RHINO lifts a city bus with a MARY JANE movie poster on it and tosses the bus towards near by traffic. SPIDER-MAN appears at the disturbance but does nothing to stop RHINO. Instead SPIDER-MAN blatantly leaves the scene as all the news outlets are reporting the incident live. RHINO runs away immediately following SPIDER-MAN’s departure. PETER is infuriated but is hiding his emotions from everyone. PETER is walking to GWEN’s house when his spider sense alerts him of a dozen small robots approaching. PETER quickly ducks into the shadows and emerges as SPIDER-MAN. The robots scatter and SPIDER-MAN chases them. One by one SPIDER-MAN destroys the small robots. The final robot leads SPIDER-MAN to BATTERY PARK before it self destructs. SPIDER-MAN looks out into the distance where he can see sonic laser beams shooting up into the sky on LIBERTY ISLAND.
SPIDER-MAN arrives on LIBERTY ISLAND, encounters KRAVEN, and they engage in hand to hand combat. SPIDER-MAN cannot defeat KRAVEN and tries to escape. SPIDER-MAN cannot swing out of harms way so he must escape on foot. SPIDER-MAN cannot focus his spider sense because of the many dangers facing him from all angles. SPIDER-MAN meets SCORPION who is distracting him as RHINO charges. RHINO smashes SPIDER-MAN and they fight. SPIDER-MAN escapes from RHINO and SCORPION contacts MR. TOOMES to inform him of the mission’s status. At the OSCORP lab in a secret area MR. TOOMES gases himself with his own version of the GOBLIN SERUM.
Back at LIBERTY ISLAND the mission continues. SPIDER-MAN meets the FAKE SPIDER-MAN. SPIDER-MAN defeats the FAKE SPIDER-MAN and removes his mask to reveal the CHAMELEON. Suddenly SPIDER-MAN’s spider senses alert him of danger. SCORPION dashes by SPIDER-MAN and SHOCKER hits SPIDER-MAN with a sonic blast. SCORPION again contacts MR. TOOMES to give a mission update. In his secret lab MR. TOOMES is opening a chamber containing a WINGED POWER SUIT.
The battle continues as SPIDER-MAN fights SHOCKER and SPIDER-MAN escapes. KRAVEN supplies a distraction to SPIDER-MAN while SCORPION hits SPIDER-MAN with his armored tail. SPIDER-MAN fights SCORPION and the rest of team join in. KRAVEN, SHOCKER, RHINO, and CHAMELEON each take cheap shots at SPIDER-MAN. The gang assault is interrupted by the high pitched shriek of a monster. LIZARD leaps out of his hiding and begins to attack the SINISTER 5.
SCORPION tries to contact MR. TOOMES. Up in the city sky there’s a stream of flames moving extremely fast. On LIBERTY ISLAND the team of SPIDER-MAN and LIZARD are still engaged in battle with the SINISTER 5. The fight comes to a close, SPIDER-MAN and LIZARD are victorious, but VULTURE appears holding GWEN STACY hostage.
VULTURE takes GWEN up to the crown of THE STATUE OF LIBERTY. SPIDER-MAN fights VULTURE in the sky surrounding the STATUE OF LIBERTY. VULTURE grabs GWEN, tosses her into the sky, jets over to SPIDER-MAN, and grabs him. VULTURE tries to fly away but SPIDER-MAN shoots a web line onto the STATUE OF LIBERTY to anchor himself. GWEN has fallen below the crown level of THE STATUE. SPIDER-MAN tries to break free, MR. TOOMES laughs, and LIZARD jumps onto VULTURE’s back. VULTURE’s power source is damaged, he releases SPIDER-MAN, and he plummets with LIZARD on his back. SPIDER-MAN rushes to save GWEN but is too late. On the other side of THE STATUE lay the bodies of VULTURE and LIZARD.
AUNT MAY is watching the news report about the death of ADRIAN TOOMES, the incarceration of the SINISTER 5, and end of OSCORP. There is no mention of LIZARD. PETER arrives to pick up AUNT MAY for GWEN’s funeral. Before they leave PETER confesses to AUNT MAY that he is SPIDER-MAN. At GWEN STACY’s funeral a gloved hand takes hold of PETER’s hand. PETER looks up to see MARY JANE wearing a black veil, standing beside him, and remaining silent. AUNT MAY stands on the other side of PETER and takes hold of his other hand.
